Introducing the Staff of EVES Library
In our beautiful library you will find two adults here to share the love of literacy, inquiry, information retrieval and new ideas using technology. Since our amalgamation in September 2010, the library staff hours have increased resulting in full service for our students at E.V.E.S. Ms. Gunson teaches in the library 60% of the time and Mrs. Fyles assists for 15 hours each week. The library is open from 8:30--3:30 every day. It is closed during recess and most lunch times, but open during some lunch times for library club.
The school’s teacher-librarian/resource specialist is Ms. Gunson. She is available in the library to teach classes, work collaboratively with teachers, and provide research instruction, direction, and leadership in information literacy. Ms. Gunson completed her Master's degree in Teacher-Librarianship from the University of Alberta in Spring of 2010. She is available to assist students after school on Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Fri with inquiry, research, and literacy information needs.

Our assistant/library clerk is Mrs. J. Fyles. She works in the library on Mondays, Tues afternoon and Fridays. Mrs. Fyles processes books, shelves books, helps during book exchanges, and assists Ms. Gunson.
