Our library club is extremely active and meetings occur on Wed. and Thurs. at 12:00 in the library with Ms. Gunson. Don't forget about Chinese New Year on Jan. 23rd!

Eagle View Elementary School Library/Resource Center is located in the center of the school. It is the heart of the school—the neutral zone or Switzerland—where the students, teachers, clerks, and teacher-librarian all work together.

The entire school participated in D.E.A.R. 2011....Well done Eagle View Elementary School!

The library is a learning and gathering place. It is a place where visions and dreams are encouraged.

“Cherish your visions and your dreams, as they are the children of your soul and the blueprints of your ultimate achievements.”  (Napoleon Hill)

The library is also the center of leisure reading and discovery. Life-long learning is encouraged through the use and study of literature, inquiry, research models, information literacy skills, and Web 2.0 technology.

Links to the Vancouver Island Regional Library (VIRL), plus some of the best Search Engines, and websites are only a click away.  Please also check out other links, such as, Authors and Students’ Reflections (which is in process of updating).

I hope you find this website useful and convenient.

Sincerely,

Ms. S. Gunson (Teacher-Librarian)
